THE BOX OPEN IS NOW OPEN ON MONDAY’S & THURSDAY’S BETWEEN 10AM – 4PM, TO RECEIVE PHONE CALLS, SHOW BOOKINGS AND OTHER OVER THE COUNTER ENQUIRIES. THE SUNSET WINE BAR IS NOW OPEN AND OPERATIONAL WITH COVID 19 PRECAUTIONARY & SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES IN PLACE. IN ADDITION, WE HAVE COMMENCED OUR CINEMA SCREENINGS ON TUESDAY EVENINGS, ONCE AGAIN ADHERING TO ALL NECESSARY SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES. PLEASE WATCH OUR INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS OUTLINING THE NEW PROCEDURES. WE HAVE BEEN INSPECTED BY THE BCKLWN AND HAVE PASSED WITH FLYING COLOURS. 

IN LIGHT OF THE ANNOUNCEMENT ON 31ST JULY 2020, FACE MASKS WILL NOW BE MANDATORY WITHIN THE AUDITORIUM THROUGHOUT ALL PERFORMANCES.

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday, 16th March, and in order to protect our customers and our shows, we have, regrettably, taken the decision to cancel all live, non socially distanced shows, as a precautionary measure up to and including November 2020.

The shows that were due to perform during this time are in the process of being moved to a later date when we hope you will return and enjoy a night out with us. More information regarding the rescheduling will be provided as it becomes available. Please keep updated on our Facebook page or sign up to our weekly newsletters. As this continues we will constantly keep you updated.

As you are aware, the Princess Theatre is a small venue that relies upon its volunteers to keep it operational.  We, of course, do not want to put it in jeopardy.  Please can we ask you for your continued support to take up the offer of the new dates when they become available or a credit note, rather than requesting a refund.

We respectfully ask for your patience whilst we are rescheduling shows.

If you are a ticket holder, new tickets will be emailed to you as we are following the governments advice of using e-tickets. You can download these to a device or print them out at home and bring with you, but these must stay in your possession at all times, thus limiting contact between staff and customers. If you do not have an email address that we can use your tickets will be printed and will be made available from the Box Office for collection, once this is allowed to be opened. There is no postage at this time. If you are requiring a refund we ask that you email the box office with your account details. We have made the decision to do this manually via bank transfer, as we did not anticipate the length of the closure we are having to endure. We kindly ask for your understanding in this matter.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your custom over the past 8 years and look forward to seeing you when things return to normality for the theatre. In the meantime,we very much look forward to welcoming you back to the Sunset Wine Bar and the brand new terrace from the 4th July. We please ask that all customers adhere to our new Covid 19 rules and regulations.
